day 266: still 4.24 out of 99

It's been 22 days since I set those targets. Quick check-in.

App revenue is still $4.24. Same number, same two apps behind it. Requote is subscription-based, so downloads don't move the number unless someone converts — a few people downloaded it, none subscribed. Sumof is paid upfront, so no downloads means no revenue, and there were no downloads. Two different shapes of nothing, adding up to the same $4.24.

YouTube went faster than I expected. Watch time went from 100 hours to 220. Subscribers went from 15 to 25. Back on 3/30 I did the math and figured I might add another 200 hours by December — at this pace I'd pass that, which would be nice, but I've been doing this long enough to know these things don't move in straight lines. 10 new subscribers in 22 days is a lot for me. Thank you.

Books: 27 to 30. I was away for about ten days between the move and a trip, so I didn't read much. 50 by June 30th is still on the table.

And sumof. I wanted to log all my books into it before moving. I didn't. The move happened anyway. The honest reason is that I have over 200 books and entering them one by one was too annoying to start. Which is its own kind of useful information — I built this app partly to organize my books, and when it came time to actually do it, the manual entry was the thing that stopped me. I still use sumof for other things. Just not at that scale.
